Netflix has supported multiple outstanding Indian original productions and now prepares to launch its forthcoming psychological thriller drama called Accused which will premiere in 2026.

The movie brings together Konkona Sen Sharma and Pratibha Ranta to deliver a powerful emotional experience which unfolds through their intense story of personal conflict and emotional suspicion.

The movie shows the life of a famous queer physician who works in London until her life changes after severe allegations are brought against her.

The situation develops into a crisis which damages both her personal life and professional career while her marriage faces its most difficult challenge.

The creators of the project present it as a psychological drama which consists of multiple layers while exploring how people perceive others and face moral uncertainty and experience emotional distress from social judgment.

The film Accused was created through the direction of Anubhuti Kashyap who worked together with Sima Agarwal and Yash Keswani as writers. Karan Johar and Adar Poonawalla and Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra produced the film through their Dharmatic Entertainment Production company while Parth Dholakia worked as executive producer.

The film features Sukant Goel, Aditya Nanda and the two main actors Konkona and Pratibha. Netflix has released the film teaser which shows the movies intense emotional environment.

Accused presents a serious theme through its strong cast which will establish the film as one of Netflix's most important Indian movies scheduled for release in 2026.
