Taylor Swift has delighted her devoted fanbase with an exciting new update.

On Wednesday, January 4, the 36-year-old pop superstar announced that the highly anticipated music video for Opalite will be released later this week, teasing the drop with a dazzling image.

According to Swift’s website, the visual will be made available exclusively on Apple Music and Spotify Premium starting Friday, February 6.

The video will stream on those platforms from February 6 at 8 a.m. ET until February 8 at 8 a.m. ET, after which it will be released publicly on YouTube.

In addition, a blue pearlescent Opalite vinyl is currently available for preorder on Swift’s website through February 6 at 7 p.m. ET, or while supplies last.

Opalite serves as the second single from Swift’s latest album, The Life of a Showgirl. The track debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has remained on the chart for 17 consecutive weeks, currently holding the No. 10 spot.

The Love Story hitmaker released her twelfth studio album on October 3, selling 2.7 million copies on its first day and later surpassing Adele’s 25 for the biggest consumption week in Billboard 200 history.

On the personal front, Swift is reportedly preparing for her upcoming wedding to Travis Kelce. However, sources suggest the couple is in no rush, with the 14-time Grammy winner said to be prioritising the Kansas City Chiefs star’s career following a challenging 2025–2026 season.

“Taylor is trying to put him in a better mood by spending more time with him and not bombarding him with wedding plans,” an insider shared.

The confidant added, “She would want him to focus on that after he makes his career decision because she knows how important it is to him.”
