Josh Radnor and his wife Jordana Jacobsa recently celebrated a major milestone in their marriage.

They welcomed their first child together, making them parents to a baby boy.

The How I Met Your Mother alum announced the news on Instagram, on February 4 by sharing sweet moments with their newborn baby.

The first picture showed the 51-year-old actor cradling the baby as he smiles at him, which was followed by picture of the baby resting on his guitar while Josh is tuning the instrument.

The final image from the carousel captured a sweet moment between mother and son, as she cradles him in the hospital bed.

"So my wife and I had a baby a few months ago," he penned in the caption of the post.

"Here’s what we know so far: His smile lights up the room. He’s super observant and thoughtful. He gets hypnotized when I play him songs on the guitar," the All Happy Families actor added.

"Sending love to all my fellow parents of newborns out there. What a wild, beautiful, exhausting, heart-opening initiation. So grateful," he penned, concluding the heartfelt post.

Continuing, “He thinks the word ‘baba ghanoush’ is hysterical. He’s a total delight and Jordana and I are thrilled he’s here."
