Bill Gates was named in the Epstein files
Melinda French Gates, the former wife of Bill Gates, has broken her silence on her husband’s scandalous mention in the Epstein files.
The tech billionaire was named in the notorious Epstein files that have been released by the US Department of Justice in batches.
The former wife of the 70-year-old said on an NPR podcast that the files brought back “painful times in my marriage”.
In the newly released batch of the files, it was alleged that Bill Gates secretly gave his then-wife medication to treat sexually transmitted disease.
Melinda said she felt “unbelievable sadness” when the files were released and “whatever questions remain” need to be answered by those who have been named in the files.
The Microsoft’s founder has denied the allegations. His spokesperson said the claims are “absolutely absurd”.
Bill Gates himself spoke on 9News in Australia saying “Every minute I spent with him I regret and I apologise that I did that.”
