Parag Chadha calls out the alleged 'dark side' of Vikram Bhatt’s production
Acclaimed casting director Parag Chadha has publicly raised a significant claim against Vikram Bhatt.
Sharing screenshots on Instagram, the 32-year-old film talent manager revealed conversations with the team of 1920: Horrors of the Heart, a movie directed by Krishna Bhatt and produced by Vikram, alleging that he and his talent have yet to receive payment for their work.
“We have been requesting our dues for years but have received no positive response,” he wrote. “After years of trying to collect payments, we’ve reached our limits.”
The casting director said his post was meant to reveal what he called the “dark reality of the movie industry.”
Fans were quick to respond, calling out the Bhatts and their team for allegedly delaying payments to those who worked on the film.
Notably, Vikram and his wife, Shwetambari Bhatt, are still in custody. Their bail was turned down by the Rajasthan High Court in a Rs 30 crore fraud case. The complaint, filed by Ajay Murdia, mentioned that the couple and their associates misused money meant for the movie.
