Britney Spears slams family for terrible treatment
The pop star said she is ‘scared’ of her family
Princess of Pop Britney Spears has taken a jab at her family in a public post for how they treated her.
Britney rose to fame as a pop star on the music scene in the 90s and went on to have a career full of hits amid her crippling personal life full of tensions.
The singer said she is “lucky to be alive” despite the struggle she went through with her family.
In an Instagram post shared on February 4, the singer opened up about her family tensions.
She began ““As people, all we really want is to feel connected to each other and never feel alone.”
“For those of you in your family that have said to help you is to isolate you and make you feel unbelievably left out … they were wrong.”
The Toxic singer said she believes she is “incredibly lucky to even be alive with how my family treated me once in my life and now I’m scared of them.”
Britney has had a damaged relationship with her parents Jamie and Lynn after their 13-year conservatorship ended in 2021.
