Savannah Guthrie has been missing since January 31
US Presidnet Donald Trump has sent a message of hope to American broadcaster Savannah Guthrie whose mother has been missing since January 31.
Savannah’s 84-year-old mother, Nancy, was last seen on Saturday near her home in Arizona and was reported missing on Sunday February 1.
Trump revealed he had a private conversation with the journalist and comforted her in a Truth Social post on Wednesday.
Th 79-year-old wrote “I spoke with Savannah Guthrie, and let her know that I am directing ALL Federal Law Enforcement to be at the family's, and Local Law Enforcement's, complete disposal, IMMEDIATELY.”
He added “We are deploying all resources to get her mother home safely. The prayers of our Nation are with her and her family. GOD BLESS AND PROTECT NANCY!”
The president spoke to Savannah over phone call and comforted her reassuring her that the authorities will do their best to find her mother.
He has also offered federal assistance to Arizona law enforcement in their search.
Authorities are considering the possibility of a kidnapping.
