Suryakumar Yadav, captain of the Indian T20 side has addressed Pakistan's boycott of India at T20 World Cup.

It was announced on February 1 by the Government of Pakistan that the team will not take the field against their arch rivals in Colombo on February 15.

As planned previously, Pakistan’s matched were moved to Sri Lanka from the host country India for the tournament given the diplomatic tensions between the two countries.

Speaking at a press conference after the Captains' Carnival, Yadav said the players will go in as planned previously emphasising that there hase been no reluctance from the Indian side to play the match.

“I think mindset is pretty clear. We have not said no to playing the match. It came from the other side.” he said.

He added “ICC has given the official fixtures. BCCI and the government has decided on a neutral venue along with ICC. Our flight is booked for Colombo. So we are going for sure.”

Meanwhile, the captain of the Pakistani side Salman Ali Agha said the final decision rests with the government.
