Indian movie-maker Anurag Kashyap on being named as Bollywood guy in Epstein file document
Anurag Kashyap has finally broken his silence on being named in the Epstein Files.
The Indian movie-maker’s name came up in a series of emails between late sex offender and trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and a few others, as he was referred as “famous Bollywood director” in the documents.
While responding to the controversy, Anurag told Hindustan Times where he strongly rejected any involvement or association with Jeffrey or the event mentioned in the documents.
“I’ve no clue about this. I get invitations as a speaker, about 15 a month. I rarely respond,” said the Black Friday director.
Anurag continued that he has “never been to Beijing in my life,” as he clarified about the alleged event location mentioned in the circulated Epstein Files.
The movie-maker also questioned the documents’ credibility, stating, “It’s some random email, that’s self-explanatory.”
“The clickbaits in my name are more popular than my films,” added Anurag.
