‘Zoolander’ star gets candid about one of the high points in his professional life
Ben Stilelr has recently opened up about the most treasured moment from his acting career.
The Zoolander actor shares working with David Bowie was one of the high points in his professional life.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Ben says, “Having worked with so many different people over the years, it's really one of the high points to have had that time with him.”
For those unversed, David made a cameo for the 2001 comedy about an empty-headed male model along with the actor.
Gushing over the singer, the Night of the Museum actor remarks, “He was incredibly generous, incredibly classy — everybody on set was in awe.
“When David said yes to doing it, I couldn't believe he said yes,” recalls the 60-year-old.
However, Ben notes that despite being a musician, David “had a great sense of humour and was incredibly self-deprecating, and I feel really, really fortunate that I got to spend a little time with him”.
Therefore, “it's been a high point in my career to be able to have that time with David,” states the Along Came Polly actor.
Elsewhere in the interview, Ben also discusses his working experience with Ariana Grande in the upcoming Meet the Parents sequel, Focker In-Law.
“I had a blast working with her, and I think what she brought to the movie is just a very, very new sensibility that also felt very much like it worked within the tone of the movie,” he adds,
