Natalia Dyer lands new role post 'Stranger Things'

With Stranger Things officially behind her, Natalia Dyer is set to step into a new role for Goodbye Girl, the Amazon MGM Studios romantic comedy which will also star Kiernan Shipka and Cole Sprouse, as per Deadline.

The upcoming project comes from Gulfstream Pictures, a frequent Amazon MGM collaborator, and is scheduled to go into production this week in New Orleans.

Directed by Oran Zegman (Paramount+’s Honor Society), Goodbye Girl centers on Kess (Kiernan) a professional heartbreaker who is tasked with breaking up a bride and groom on the eve of their wedding. When the plan unravels, she finds herself falling for the groom, played by Cole. However, Natalia’s role has not been disclosed yet.

Written by Danielle Hoover and David Monahan, the screenplay is based on a story by Danielle, David and Jessica Elbaum.

Previously, Natalia, 31, took on the role of Nancy Wheeler in the fan favourite Netflix science fiction horror series Stranger Things, which came to an end after five seasons in 2025.
