Selena Gomez has recently shared glimpses of her surprise reunion with her onscreen father David DeLuise from Disney Channel sitcom Wizards of Waverly Place after 14 years.
The singer-actress reshared a social media post of David to her Instagram Story on February 7 with no caption but only a heart-shaped emoji.
On Friday, David posted a few pictures from their meetup, calling it “best reunion” in his caption.
In one picture, the Emilia Perez actress could be seen making weird faces as she poses with David.
“Such a joyful night full of laughter, love, and the kind of fun that reminds you how good it feels to reconnect with family! The best reunion ever,” he wrote.
Later, Selena also shared some throwback photos of her hangout with former Wizards of Waverly Place co-stars Jennifer Stone and David Henrie.
Earlier in September 2025, the actress opened up about her experience filming the show as a teenager.
“I was in these crucial years of my brain developing,” she told Allure magazine.
Elaborating on why she wanted to return for the sequel, “All of those people that are on the show with us have grown and evolved, and I want them to be in my life. I think that's why I always wanted to go back.”
For those unversed, the sitcom ran for four seasons from 2007 until it wrapped in 2012.
