Reese Witherspoon reportedly set strict rules on the set of Legally Blonde prequel, Elle show.
The actress, who previously played Elle Woods in 2001’s movie, served as a producer in the upcoming series, that will premiere on Prime Video on July 1.
A source spilled to the National Enquirer that Reese “has gone into pure businesswoman mode”.
After filming began last year, the Morning Show star ensured that every detail of the show is “perfect”.
“Reese needs this to be a hit or she’ll have a lot of egg on her face,” said an insider.
Another source revealed that Reese has “high standards and she’s a tough boss behind the scenes”.
Earlier in 2021, the Sweet Home Alabama actress sold her production company, Hello Sunshine, for more than $900 million, but she still oversaw its operations, per Variety report.
Reflecting on her role as a producer, a first source noted that the “hardcore side of Reese’s personality is exactly what made her rich”.
“If they can make five or six seasons of Elle, she’ll be really set!” mentioned a tipster.
Meanwhile, Lexi Minetree will play the young Elle Woods in the highly anticipated series.
