Seth Rogen recalled how it was like working with late actress, Catherine O’Hara
Seth Rogen, who recently received recognition for his work, paid tribute to the worldwide favourite actress, Catherine O’Hara.
The Canadian actor was present at the 78th Annual Directors Guild of America (DGA) Awards held on Saturday, February 7.
The filmmaker also won the award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in a Comedy Series, for his The Studio, which he received alongside his creative partner, Evan Goldberg.
While giving the speech, the 43-year-old honored the late actress, confessing that she is their idol, and she was the one who made them want to become filmmakers in the first place.
Seth stated, “The best part of her is she showed that you can be an utter genius and also the nicest person in the entire world,”
He went on to say that, “Every day, we work very hard to make the show good enough to warrant her time and her presence. So ultimately we would like to thank the DGA for this, but we would mostly like to thank Catherine O’Hara.”
It is to be noted that Catherine’s final project was the comedy television series, The Studio with Seth and Evan, and she passed away on January 30.
