Australian actress shares the screen alongside Jacob Elordi in the highly anticipated movie
Margot Robbie has recently shared Wuthering Heights movie is different from the book for one particular reason.
The Australian actress, who portrays Cathy in Emerald Fennell directed movie, revealed that she and her co-star Jacob Elordi “kiss a lot” on-screen in the adaptation compared to the 1847 novel.
“They never really kissed in the book, but we kiss a lot. We kiss everywhere,” said the Barbie star in a new interview with The Sun.
Margot continued that there are so “many times where Jacob just picks me up and puts me in a tree, or picks me up with one hand”.
However, the Suicide Squad actress admitted, “It’s really nice because it makes me feel, ‘Oh, I am light as a feather, I'm a tiny little thing’.”
In another interview with PEOPLE, Margot reflected on her preparation for romantic scenes in the highly anticipated movie.
She stated, “No different to all the other scenes that we do. The movie kind of demands a lot of all of us.”
However, the actress mentioned that her character in Emily Bronte’s adaptation “essentially cries in every single scene, but no, it was a joy”.
“I loved playing a character who kind of swings from one wild emotion to the other in an instant,” she added.
Meanwhile, Wuthering Heights is slated to release in theatres on February 13.
