Leonardo DiCaprio’s co-star reflects on viral awards ceremony moment
Chase Infiniti has recently addressed Leonardo DiCaprio’s viral Golden Globes moment.
The American actress, who starred opposite Leo in One Battle After Another movie, opened up on introducing the Titanic star to both TikTok and K-pop on the set of their hit flick.
“I'd be like, 'Guys, let's make TikToks, this is what my generation really likes to see,' and whatnot’,” said the 25-year-old in a new interview with The Times.
Chase continued that she would tell her co-stars including Leo about her favourite music groups particularly K-pop.
While discussing the Shutter Island actor’s viral clip, the Presumed Innocent actress mentioned that she gave Leo “a crash course in the genre”.
“It was more like I gave him an education,” quipped Chase.
For those unversed, Leonardo was seen chatting animatedly with Teyana Taylor during last month's awards ceremony.
The clip sparked viewers’ attention, as some lip readers and fans speculated that the Inception actor tried to say something like, “I was watching you with the K-pop thing. You were like, is that K-pop?”
Meanwhile, Leo also pointed at his own eyes before pointing at the offscreen person, telling he was “watching them” after which he waved his fingers around and clapped.
