Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is soon to welcome her second child with businessman-husband Anand Ahuja.

On Sunday, the family organized a special baby shower ceremony to bless the couple, which was attended by her close family and friends, along with several Bollywood celebrities.

To complete her look, she paired her dress with stunning traditional heavy jewellery and a sleek bun, while her guest also wore simple traditional dresses. Sitting beside her husband, she performed pooja and other rituals.

To make this evening dreamy, decor was the main statement, which leaned heavily on fresh flowers, hanging purple blooms, and birds-of-paradise installations hanging from the ceiling.

While there was no colour-specific decor which can describe the gender of the baby, one thing caught the attention, a possible hint at the new addition to their family.

Sonam shared a glimpse of hanging decor with a backdrop of a pink curtain, with the caption "sneak peek, everything curated with detail for the special one.” And not only this one picture, but in some other photos, pink decorative curtains and chair covers were also visible.

Netizens immediately started speculating that the Neerja actress is expecting a baby girl this time.

For the unversed, the Sanju star and businessman Anand Ahuja tied the knot in May 2018 in Mumbai. And three years later, they welcomed their first son, Vayu, in August 2022.
