Zayn Malik has shared his thoughts on expanding his family following his bombshell revelation that he was never in love with ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid.

During the February 11 episode of Call Her Daddy podcast, hosted by Alex Cooper, the 33-year-old singer revealed that he’s open to having more children, but only with the approval of his daughter, Khai.

"I do. Yeah," Malik told Cooper. "It's not something that, like, I'm actively trying to pursue, but, yeah, for sure, I would like more kids."

He added, "Obviously, Khai would have to approve too because she's got the highest opinion, you know? But yeah, never say never."

The former One Direction member welcomed Khai, 5, with Hadid, 30, in September 2020.

Malik also shared how his daughter helps him reconnect with his inner child and creates special bonding moments between them.

"She's just kind of brought a lot of things back for me, like how much I enjoy doing them things, you know? During the day, watching cartoons, things like that, like watching films and just enjoying kiddie stuff with her, you know?" he said.

Elsewhere in the wide-ranging interview, the PILLOWTALK hitmaker admitted that he was never truly in love with his former supermodel partner during their relationship.

"Maybe it was lust, maybe it was this, maybe it was that. I don't feel like it was love. To be fair, just to have this on the record, I will always love G, because she is the reason my child is on this Earth and I have the utmost respect for her," Malik noted.

He clarified that while he will always love Hadid, he is unsure whether he was ever in love with her when they dated  on and off from 2015 to 2021.
