Reporter calls Sunny Deol 2.0, praises his recent box office success
Indian actor Sunny Deol spoke about his recent success during a media interaction held in Mumbai on February 12 for Border 2.
During the conversation, a reporter referred to Sunny as a bankable star and called him Sunny Deol 2.0 while mentioning his recent box office run.
Responding to the remark, the Betaab actor said, “Itne saal pata nahi kahan chuppa hua tha.” He then added, “It’s really sweet. I just want to say this to everyone – work hard, love your profession, don’t get disheartened and time is something—you never know when it will come and when it will go but you should be ready for it.”
The Darr actor also spoke about his father, veteran actor Dharmendra, who passed away in November 2025.
He credited him for his journey and said, “This is my father’s blessing, it is Waheguru ji’s grace upon me. The people loved me before as well, and they are loving me even today. Wherever I go, I receive so much love. Now I feel that even the industry has realised that people across the country want to see me, so I will definitely keep doing movies.”
The Apne actor confirmed that he had several projects lined up. He was set to appear in Lahore 1947 alongside Aamir Khan and Preity Zinta.
