Gigi Hadi has recently expressed her disappointment after Zayn Malik unabashedly claimed he was never in love with the model.

Earlier this week, Zayn opened up that he “had never truly been in love” with the model during an appearance on Call Her Daddy podcast.

The singer’s humiliating remarks didn’t set well with Gigi as they were quite in love with each other while they dated for almost six years, before calling it quits in 2021. The former couple also share a five-year-old daughter, Khai.

A source told The Sun, “There is nothing respectful about badmouthing the mother of your child. Gigi was completely blindsided. It's all so unnecessary and pathetic.”

“It feels like a grubby ploy to get some headlines ahead of his new album launch,” remarked an insider.

The source close to the model pointed out that how could “Zayn say he was never in love with Gigi”.

“They were together for six years. To even suggest that their daughter was not the product of a loving relationship is cruel beyond words,” they mentioned.

Another source added, “Gigi has always refrained from saying an unkind word about him, so it makes it all the more humiliating.”

Meanwhile, Zayn also opened up that he is no more “looking for a public relationship again”.

Reflecting on his past experience, the musician noted that they “don’t work” for him.
