Charli xcx has taken the internet by storm following the announcement of a surprise collaboration that has sent fans into a frenzy.

On Thursday, February 12, the 33-year-old British singer announced on Instagram that her latest album, Wuthering Heights, includes a collaboration with Stranger Things star Joe Keery on the track Funny Mouth

“My album Wuthering Heights is out at midnight. Thank you so much to Emerald Fennell for trusting me to make songs for your adaptation of one of the greatest love stories of all time,” Charli began.

“I couldn’t have made this album without Finn Keane, Sky Ferreira, Joe Keery, Justin Raisen and, of course, John Cale,” she added. “Thank you for your contributions to this album — for your words, your writing, your playing, your production.”

Soon after the news broke, fans flooded the comments section, with one writing, “CHARLI AND DJO? MOM AND DAD??”

Another added, “Not gonna die in this house anymore because djorli is here to save me.”

Moreover, the Apple singer addressed fan speculation on X, confirming Joe’s involvement in the track.

“I can confirm this is real. It’s djorli baby,” she replied.

Charli’s second soundtrack album, Wuthering Heights, is now available to stream. It was released on February 13, 2026, through Atlantic Records, coinciding with the film’s theatrical debut.
