Gordon Ramsay has recently slammed his son-in-law’s family for pushing negative stories at the time of the wedding.
The celebrity chef’s daughter Holly tied the knot with Olympic swimmer Adam in a lavish ceremony last year on December 27.
At the time, Gordon was called a bully by some members of the Adam family and blamed him for keeping away groom’s own mother Caroline from the wedding ceremony.
While responding to the accusation, the MasterChef celebrity judge revealed to The Sun, “I am certainly not a bully, and it is so appalling to even suggest there was any bullying.”
Gordon said that this is “absolute nonsense”.
“It was sad to see that barrage of negativity that was self-propelled by them,” remarked the 59-year-old.
However, gushing over Adam, Gordon added that he “is an incredible young lad and he and Holly are a wonderful, happy, young couple”.
Earlier, the celebrity chef also spoke to the Daily Mail and clarified that he and his wife Tana had “done nothing wrong” despite reports suggesting that Gordon had treated the Adam family “like royalty at the time of their son's wedding”.
Negating the statement, one member from Adam’s family spilled to The Sun, “The Ramsays did not treat groom’s mother Caroline like royalty at all – they treated her as though she was nothing. They ignored her existence and not once did Mrs Ramsay return any of Caroline's texts.”
“The get together lunch they promised on the day of the engagement never materialised either,” they pointed out.
