Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt met for a lunch hosted by celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar earlier this week.

Rujuta shared photos from the gathering on Instagram. The meal included a traditional Maharashtrian spread featuring pithla, bhakri, vegetables and salad.The dishes were prepared at her home.

In one of her Instagram stories, Rujuta wrote, “Post pithla bhakri pose with the two best girls.”

Alia Bhatt also shared a photo from the lunch on her social media account. She captioned it, “The most wholesome soul-some lunch courtesy Rujuta Diwekar.” Responding to the post, Rujuta wrote, “Your ability to enjoy the simple joys of life is your superpower.”

Kareena and Rujuta had worked together for several years. Rujuta had earlier guided Kareena’s diet during the filming of Tashan. The nutritionist was associated with her fitness journey at the time.

On the professional front, Alia Bhatt was preparing for Alpha, which also featured Sharvari and Bobby Deol. She was also part of Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Kareena Kapoor Khan had Meghna Gulzar’s Daayra in her upcoming schedule.
