Rahul Bhat states that his partnership with Anurag Kashyap has been established through trust since their first collaboration on Ugly followed by Dobaaraa and their most recent project Kennedy.

Bhat transformed from his role as a television heartthrob during the 1990s through his performance in Heena into a powerful actor who achieved success through his roles in Ugly and Section 375 and in the Black Warrant OTT series.

The movie Kennedy will be available to watch on ZEE5 after a three-year delay which the platform has experienced.

Bhat portrays a former police officer who works as a contract killer in his role for the film.

"Anurag and my relationship are very karmic something is very strong between us I feel that I know him from some past life. We have in fact spoken about it that it's a very strange relationship we have a very strong bond.”

"After doing three films we understand a lot about each other. I trust him a lot as a director and I know I'm in such expert and good hands. It's like when you are flying with a good pilot you feel you are in good hands you've to trust the pilot to take you," the actor told PTI in an interview.

Bhat praised Kashyap by describing him as an exceptional director who possesses great qualities as a person because Bhat believes this trait shows up in Kashyap's movies.

"If you are not a good human being, you cannot come out with such interesting ideas, amazing stories, so many circumstances and understanding the human empathy, sympathising with certain characters and also telling the truth at the same time. It's not an easy job."
