Actor Aamir Khan has responded to reports linking him to the ongoing disagreement between Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar over the much-discussed film Don 3.

Earlier this week, it was claimed that the 60-year-old had stepped in to mediate between Ranveer and Farhan’s banner, Excel Entertainment, after tensions reportedly escalated.

A meeting at his Mumbai residence, attended by several industry figures, added fuel to the speculation.

However, according to Bollywood Hungama, when contacted for comment, the Dangal star “flatly denied any hand in the Ranveer-Farhan Akhtar dispute”.

The issue is said to have begun after Ranveer exited Don 3, an ambitious project backed by Excel.

Reports suggest the production house sought Rs 40 crore in compensation, citing pre-production expenses and scheduling changes made after Ranveer’s approval.

The Simmba actor, on the other hand, reportedly walked away due to dissatisfaction with the script, the absence of a bound script and concerns over project management.

It has also been reported that he did not receive an advance payment and was not compensated for time lost on other shelved projects.

The Producers Guild of India has reportedly stepped in to mediate.
