Zakir Khan opens up about his stage hiatus and assures fans about his well-being
Zakir Khan has finally reacted to reports about his health after announcing a break from stage shows.
Speaking at a recent event, the 38-year-old comedian cleared the air and said there is nothing serious about his health.
In the clip trending online, the Papa Yaar tour star stated, "Break ki kahani doston yeh hai ki mere paas writing ka bahot kaam aagaya tha jo mai us hisaab se kar nahi paaraha tha."
He continued with a smile, "Health thodi hi kharab hai, bahot zyada kharab nahi hai. Tumne jo internet pe padha woh jhut hai bhai. Tumne jo padha hai ki main stage -20 pe hu. Koi baat nahi hai."
Furthermore, the comedian joked about misleading reports online, noting, "Likhne wale bhi ghatiya hai. Upar se likh aur derahe hai ki 'close family source has confirmed.' Bhai, meri family mere sath hi rehti hai. Hum khud ek dusre ka mu dekhrahe hai ki kisne confirm kiya?"
Last month, he announced that his break might continue until 2028 or even 2030. He shared that he wants to focus on his health and writing projects.
Earlier, Zakir told Gulf News that he needs to focus on his health due to family medical history, poor sleep, and constant travel. He said after years of nonstop work, he realised during his US tour that balancing both was too hard.
