Deepika Padukone, who celebrated her birthday on January 5, recently poked fun at reaching 40.

On Tuesday, February 25, the Bollywood icon posted a lighthearted take on stepping into a major milestone on her official Instagram Stories.

She shared a meme inspired by the popular television show Friends, which reads, "POV: 1986 babies thinking about their 2026 birthday."

It is pertinent to mention, the actress’ fun update came shortly after she appeared publicly with Ranveer Singh for the first time since reports of an extortion threat. They attended a special session where her father, badminton icon Prakash Padukone, spoke.

At the same time, excitement around her international work is increasing. She is rumored to join season 4 of The White Lotus this year, though the studio hasn’t confirmed it yet.

On the professional front, Deepika will appear in King with Shah Rukh Khan, under the direction of Siddharth Anand. She is also joining forces with Atlee for a major film with Allu Arjun.
