Kristen Bell has opened up about her marriage to Dax Shepard, sharing insights into what makes their relationship thrive.

In a conversation with PEOPLE ahead of her hosting gig at the Actor Awards ceremony on March 1, the 45-year-old actress revealed a key element of their successful marriage.

“There's nothing that he won't do to take care of me,” Bell said, referring to how Shepard helped her with her makeup during her last year hosting at the annual award show. “He applies himself. So I’m grateful.”

“One thing that I love so much about being married to him is that he is never allergic to me shining more and more,” she gushed. “He never gets insecure about it.”

Bell also emphasised the effort they put into maintaining their long-standing marriage.

“We put a lot of work into it and I'm very happy. We're very supportive of each other and our marriage and our family,” she added.
