English actor reveals why he doesn’t want his fans to meet him ahead of 'The Bride!' release
Christian Bale has recently made surprising confession about during an interview at upcoming The Bride! premiere.
The British actor was asked if he ever tries to act cool while meeting his favourite stars, to which Bale told Entertainment Tonight, “I’m never cool.”
American Psycho actor also admitted that he never prefers to see the movie stars in real life.
Elaborating on the reason, Bale opened up about why he doesn’t want to meet his heroes.
“I see it in people’s eyes when they’ve watched my movies and loved them, and then they meet me, and I see their eyes, that terrible disappointment about who I really am,” stated the 52-year-old actor.
Thor: Love and Thunder actor went on saying, “It’s true, what a disappointment. That’s me at my best in the movie.”
Interestingly, Bale reiterated that fans should never meet their “heroes” and even he goes by the same rule.
“They’re heroic in what they do. But you know, give them a break. Nobody can be a hero all the time,” concluded the actor.
Meanwhile, Bale will next be seen in The Bride!, set to release in theatres on March 6.
