The makers of Spirit have revealed the first look of Vivek Oberoi, adding a new name to a film that was already carrying big expectations.

In a dark and striking poster, the 49-year-old appears intense and controlled. 

The makers did not say much about his role, but the image suggests a powerful character placed deep inside the violent world imagined by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

With Oberoi now stepping into this expanding universe, the action drama appears to be growing louder and heavier, long before it reaches the big screen.

Hours before the reveal, the director hinted at the update on X (formerly Twitter). 

He wrote, “90 minutes to go for an exciting update from the Film SPIRIT. @InSpiritMode @VangaPictures @TSeries”. 

The post quickly led to online speculation, with fans guessing which actor would join the project.

The film is led by Prabhas and also stars Triptii Dimri in the lead role. A new face, Aishwarya Desai, has also joined the cast in what is described as a significant role.

Sprit is backed by producer Bhushan Kumar and brings him together again with Vanga after the commercial success of Ranbir Kapoor's  Animal. 

The film is described as a large-scale action drama with raw emotion and intense storytelling.

Presented by T-Series, the film will release in eight languages. It is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on 5 March 2027.
