The Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan led Haiwaan, which Priyadarshan directed will release in 2026 as one of its most awaited films.
Sony Network successfully acquired the satellite digital and music rights for the film according to our exclusive report from two weeks ago which showed their excitement about the upcoming content.
The latest update brings us another exclusive news about Haiwaan which delivers exciting information.
It has been confirmed by the trusted media that Haiwaan's non theatre rights were bought for a hefty amount of Rs. 80 crore.
A source informed, "Haiwaan is hot in the market as multiple players were bidding to have it on their platform. But the highest bid came from Sony Network which gave the offer to buy satellite digital and music rights for a sum of Rs. 80 crores. With this the team of Haiwaan have already recovered more than 70 percent of their investment."
There are reports saying that Haiwaan may come out to the general public in August and with the official two-cent, only a couple more days are left.
"Haiwaan's release date will be strategic as the makers want a clean run. It's a high-concept thriller and the team is clear not to release it in a crowded window. The tentative timeline indicates an August release."
