Kevin Williamson talks about the possibility of ‘Scream 8’ movie

Scream 7 director Kevin Williamson has recently hinted at the possibility of working on the eighth installment.

The creator and movie-maker shared that the eighth Scream movie would depend on the success of Scream 7.

Given the movie’s high box office earnings, Kevin opened up that fans might be able to watch more movie from Scream franchise.

In his recent interview, the director said, “If this film is successful and there’s an audience for it, you know we’ll make it because 1, I think the studio would like to make it, and 2, we the people who make these movies would make it because they’re a blast to make and they’re so much fun,” per Variety.

However, after the release of Scream 7 movie on February 27, it earned the highest-opening week for the franchise.

However, instead of its impressive financial performance, the movie still received mixed to negative reviews from fans and critics of the franchise.

Meanwhile, there is no official announcement from Paramount about Scream 8 movie as of yet.
