After months of rumours, Christian Bale has finally confirmed his involvement in the highly anticipated sequel to Michael Mann’s 1995 crime drama Heat.

The 52-year-old English actor shared the news of him joining the project as he promoted his latest film The Bride!, co-starring Hamnet star Jessie Buckely.

During his conversation with Fox 32 News, the American Psycho star nonchalantly revealed he will "be back in Chicago soon for Heat 2" without providing any further information.

There is lack of information regarding the upcoming movie.

But it is confirmed that Michael Mannm who previously worked with Christian on Public Enemies, is personally developing it, adapting the sequel book he wrote back in 2022.

The book acts as both a prequel and sequel, spanning the late ’80s, mid ’90s, and 2000, with a story that unfolds across multiple continents.

Rumours suggest stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Austin Butler, Adam Driver, and Stephen Graham could also be involved in the project.
