This week, two films and one web series are heading straight to OTT platforms to entertain the viewers. 

Anil Kapoor returns as a former soldier trying to adjust to normal life, while Divya Dutta leads a tough and emotional series. Here’s a closer look.

1. Subedaar

Backed by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor and Suresh Triveni, Subedaar tells the story of Arjun Maurya, a retired army man who struggles to settle into civilian life after years of service. 

The battlefield may be behind him, but the fight is not over. Now, he finds himself standing up against local troublemakers to protect his family and his city. 

The film is described as a full-on masala action drama, with emotions and action packed together. Kapoor, who was last seen in action roles in films like Fighter, once again steps into an intense part.

2. Jab Khuli Kitaab

• Cast: Pankaj Kapur, Dimple Kapadia, Aparshakti Khurana, Samir Soni, Manasi Parekh, Nauheed Cyrusi, Devyani Ratanpal

This family drama focuses on Gopal, an ageing man whose quiet routine is shaken when his wife Anusuya wakes up after being on life support. 

Instead of relief, her return brings old wounds to the surface. “Chaos and buried emotions force them to face love and forgiveness as he furiously seeks divorce,” the makers shared. 

Produced by Naren Kumar, Saurabh Shukla, Mahesh Korade, Sameer Nair and Deepak Segal, the film looks at marriage, regret and second chances.

3. Chiraiya

Chiraiya is a serious and uncomfortable watch. The series questions a society that often turns a blind eye to abuse within marriage. 

It follows a woman’s painful journey as she fights against a system that ignores consent. Produced by SVF Entertainment, the show promises to be emotional and thought-provoking.

Apart from these, Gandhi Talks, starring Aditi Rao Hydari and Vijay Sethupathi, will also stream on March 6, 2026, on Zee5 in Hindi and Tamil.
