Ahaan Panday spoke about one of the toughest times in his life when he was recovering from major surgery following Saiyaara.

As per the outlet, the 26-year-old actor revealed that the process was exhausting, involving months in a cast and restricted movement.

“I actually got a whole surgery done after Saiyaara last year. And it’s one of the most painful surgeries you can do, with the longest recovery time,” he told Esquire India.

He continued, "I used to feel motivated by actors who had dramatic gym transformations...I went from being injured, to not being able to move, to not being able to lift, to being able to lift."

Moreover, he mentioned that most fans didn’t notice his struggle, saying, “I don’t know how nobody realised! A few fans reached out to my mother, asking why I was losing weight.”

For the unversed, he made his acting debut from Mohit Suri's Saiyaara, portraying role of Krish, a struggling musician who falls for aspiring journalist Vaani Batra, played by actress Aneet Padda.

Professionally, after a demanding recovery, Ahaan is all set for his upcoming film with Ali Abbas Zafar. The untitled action romance under Yash Raj Films will star Sharvari.
