Alia Bhatt has shared a new update about her upcoming and most-awaited film Love & War. The actor said the project is now close to being completed.

Speaking during an appearance at Milan Fashion Week as a global ambassador for Gucci, the 32-year-old diva spoke about the period drama. 

Dressed in a black leather trench coat and oversized sunglasses, the Highway star said the film is now close to completion.

She said, “I am working on a movie currently called Love & War. It is a film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. We are at the tail end of filming. It has been quite a magical experience. Working with Sanjay sir is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I am so grateful that I get to do it."

The film reunites her with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali after Gangubai Kathiawadi, which won her the National Award for Best Actress.

Love & War also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. 

The film was first announced for a Christmas 2025 release and later moved to March 2026.

Earlier this year, the Animal actor confirmed during an Instagram Live that the film has been delayed again, though no new release date has been shared.
