The makers of Bhooth Bangla are planning a loud and clear return to cinemas, and they are not doing it quietly. Instead of a regular trailer drop, the team has chosen a big-screen moment to make noise.

The trailer of Akshay Kumar starrer will be attached to Dhurandhar 2 in theatres from March 19, giving audiences their first big-screen glimpse of the horror-comedy.

The film reunites the 58-year-old actor  and director Priyadarshan, a pair known for delivering popular comedies over the years. Their coming together again has already created strong buzz.

According to a media report, “The trailer cut is locked and the team is extremely confident about it. The idea is to create strong digital chatter first and then capitalize on the theatrical footfalls of Dhurandhar 2.”

The plan is to first release the trailer online between March 9 and March 18. After that, it will roll out in cinemas alongside Dhurandhar 2.

A source said, “It’s a calculated decision. The target audience overlaps significantly, and the scale of Dhurandhar 2 offers the perfect platform.”

Insiders say the trailer balances spooky scenes with classic Priyadarshan-style chaos. 

Fans are expected to see the Khiladi actor in his familiar comic space once again. 

The first song, Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge, sung by Armaan Malik and Aarvan, is already picking up online attention.

Also starring Paresh Rawal and Tabu, Bhooth Bangla is set to release in cinemas on 10 April 2026.
