Australian actress Yerin Ha has had her big breakthrough role with Netflix hit period drama Bridgerton and she has some thoughts on her character’s future.
The show is based on a nobel English family during the Regency era in 1800s, the Bridgertons who are eight siblings.
The most recent season, season 4 is centered on the love story of Benedict with the lady’s maid Sophie Baek, played by Yerin.
In the forthcoming seasons, the cast will return and so will Yerin as the daughter-in-law of the Bridgerton household.
Speaking on how her character will settle in the noble life after living as a maid for years, she told Business Insider, “I think it would be a struggle. Like, I think she would still serve food for people, or take flowers from people. That would be really cool to see.”
“I do think it's so hard to undo habits in an instant, even if it's a year, if you've dealt with it for 16 years and you know how it is to be treated on the other side of things”, she added.
The actress stars alongside Luke Thompson, who plays Benedict, as they navigate their forbidden inter-class love in the backdrop of Regency London.
The season also features Francesca Bridgerton, played by Hannah Dodd’s plotline of her losing ehr husband John Stirling.
