Rajpal Yadav recently shares insight into his career and why he doesn’t seek work constantly
Actor Sonu Sood has responded to Rajpal Yadav’s recent remarks about his work and career.
The actor had earlier urged filmmakers to support Rajpal while he was in Tihar Jail over a Rs 9 crore cheque case linked to his 2010 film Ata Pata Laapata.
In an interview with HT City, the model stated, “Happy for him. I didn’t say he needs work. I said, ‘Sign him and pay advances because he deserves it.’”
Meanwhile, in an interview with SCREEN recently, the acclaimed comedian expressed appreciation for the support he got during his jail term and said that he has enough projects lined up.
He said, “Please get over the misconception that I need to keep asking for work. And there is no shame in asking for work. Cinema is my passion, and I work in such a way that I get four times more work. I work even on vacations.”
Additionally, the Dabangg actor had shared a heartfelt note on his official Instagram handle, calling the Dhol's star “a gifted actor” and emphasizing that helping him isn’t charity instead it’s dignity.
Furthermore, he noted that supporting colleagues during tough times reminds the industry that they are “more than just an industry.”
Despite the legal issues, Rajpal has a busy schedule ahead. He will next be seen in Bhoot Bangla, Welcome To The Jungle with 27 actors including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Disha Patani, and in Haiwaan.
