Josh Duhamel opens up on his previous marriage to Fergie saying he has “no regrets” even after getting divorced in 2017.

Speaking on the March 2 episode of The Skinny Confidential podcast the 53-year-old actor said their split took place due to having vastly different views.

“We’re very different,” he explained. “We have different views of the world. And that’s OK.”

The former couple share 12-year-old son Axl Jack Duhamel. While their marriage ended Josh emphasised they have maintained a strong co-parenting relationship.

He described Fergie as a “great mom” and said she also has a positive bond with his current wife Audra Mari whom he married in 2022.

Josh is also the father of a 2-year-old son Shepherd Lawrence Duhamel with Audra.

He previously admitted that the intense public attention surrounding his relationship with the Black Eyed Peas singer was difficult to navigate.

“It was a lot,” he said during an appearance at the time. “I missed the simplicity of who I really am.”

Despite their breakup both have spoken warmly about each other over the years praising their mutual respect and commitment to keeping their family dynamic healthy.
