Sean Diddy Combs is now expected to leave prison earlier than previously scheduled after federal records revealed his release date has been brought forward by more than a month.
According to the US Bureau of Prisons’ online inmate database, the music mogul is now due for release on April 25, 2028, instead of June 4.
The change marks the latest adjustment in a timeline that has shifted several times since his sentencing.
In December, Combs’ projected release was pushed back from May to June before being revised again in March.
The Bad Boy Records founder was sentenced last summer to 50 months behind bars after a federal jury found him guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
He was, however, cleared of sex trafficking and racketeering charges, accusations that could have resulted in a significantly longer term.
Prosecutors had sought a sentence exceeding 10 years, while his defence team argued for no more than 14 months. Before sentencing, Combs had already spent roughly a year in a New York City jail after being denied bail.
He is currently serving his term at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.
In court filings, his lawyer, Teny Geragos, requested the facility due to its drug rehabilitation programmes and closer proximity to family visits.
