Lamar Odom opens up on the afterlife experience, claiming it "isn't what people make it out to be.”

In the new trailer, first look for Odom's installment of Netflix's Untold, the former Lakers star reflected on his 2015 overdose, reported by PEOPLE.

The upcoming film The Death & Life of Lamar Odom will premiere on Netflix on March 31.

In the trailer, Odom was seen telling viewers that, "I had 12 strokes and six heart attacks. That's not no average s---."

Odom’s former wife, Khloe Kardashian, appears in the trailer to reflect on the period when he was “living a rockstar lifestyle,” as one of his friends describes it. The 41-year-old remembers that Laker games were “the center of the universe” for the pair at the time.

Her comments come as Odom, who was arrested for a DUI in January, recently entered rehab to seek treatment for marijuana addiction.

Kardashian, who wed Odom in 2009 before their initial split in 2013, reflects in the trailer on a turbulent chapter of their marriage, alleging that her former husband would “escape rehab” and “go on a drug bender.”

The reality television personality says there were times when “no one could find him,” adding that she felt “such a responsibility to cover this up and protect him” as he struggled with substance misuse.

In the same preview, Odom candidly describes his first experience with cocaine as “amazing,” acknowledging that it prompted him to “unlock a vault” he ultimately could not “really control.”

However, the former basketball player later felt “embarrassed” about his drug abuse. He shared that he kept partying all night out and didn’t want to stop.

At the end of the trailer, he said, "The afterlife is not what people make it out to be.”
