Yash’s ‘Toxic’ to clash with Varun Dhawan’s ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ in June
‘Toxic’ to release June 4, One day before Varun’s romcom
The day started today with a significant announcement which revealed that Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups would not compete against Aditya Dhar's highly anticipated film Dhurandhar: The Revenge on March 19.
The Yash starrer is now officially scheduled to hit theatres on June 4 which will create an exciting competition at the box office.
The upcoming release date confirms the arrival of another major Bollywood film that will compete with Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai which features Varun Dhawan as its lead actor.
The film will premiere on June 5 because Toxic will debut in theatres one day before that date. The two films will have their first public showing on different dates but they will compete during their initial weekend of release.
The trade community has started discussions about the possibility of Yash and Varun facing off at the box office because of their upcoming film releases.
Toxic will serve as a massive action drama which will attract viewers from all over India. Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai serves as a romantic movie which targets young viewers together with their families.
The creators of the Varun starrer still must decide whether they will choose another date for the movie's release.
Officials have not yet declared any plans to delay the release of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.
Presently it appears that viewers will see a battle between Yash and Varun which will happen at the summer box office.
Toxic is a film which Geetu Mohandas directed and which features Nayanthara and Kiara Advani and Tara Sutaria among its cast. Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai features Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde as the female leads who star opposite Varun.
