Karan Aujla eyes another Mumbai Show after concert complaints?
Fans struggled with long queues and visibility issues at Karan's Mumbai concert
Punjabi singer Karan Aujla has finally reacted to the backlash from fans following his Mumbai concert.
On Tuesday, March 3, the rapper took to his Instagram Stories after performing in Pune and wrote, “Bombay, I think we need to add a night concert. Team Innovation, y’all coming back stronger or what??”
Meanwhile, the Mumbai concert, held yesterday as part of the P-Pop Culture World Tour, was a Holi themed daytime event.
Although his Delhi and Pune shows got praise, Mumbai fans were disappointed, calling the event the “worst concert ever” because of mismanagement.
According to India Today, the videos shared online highlighted several issues, including sprinklers only in the Fan Zone, long queues for water, and inadequate crowd control, which reportedly caused some attendees to faint.
Many also complained about visibility problems, noting that VIP and general attendees couldn’t see the stage properly and there were no large screens. Some even compared the setup to an “annual day stage” rather than a professional concert.
For the unversed, the songwriter’s India tour began on 28 February in Delhi at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, where he performed his chartbusters Softly, Tauba Tauba, Gangsta, Boyfriend, and 52 Bars, and also played popular 90s Bollywood tunes like O O Jaane Jaana.
Notably, after shows in Mumbai and Pune, Karan will perform in Chandigarh (14 March), Indore (21 March), Bengaluru (29 March), Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow, and wraps up in Ludhiana on 12 April.
