Jacob Tierney speaks on season 2 of 'Heated Rivalry'

Heated Rivalry creator Jacob Tierney has admitted he isn’t slowing down anytime soon as he continues to work on the second season of the sports romance show, as per Variety.

Speaking with the outlet at GLAAD Media Awards on March 5, the 46-year-old actor, director, and screenwriter confirmed he is in a writing room all day.

"I’m in a room all day writing," he stated.

He revealed that shooting will kick off this summer, "We’re still on track."

Jacob is doing his best to focus on work and avoid feeling pressure of matching the massive success of season 1.

“I think I realized a little while ago that what I have to do is go back to where my head was at the first time I wrote, which was love these books and try to make the smartest thing I can make of it,” he said.

He also insisted that he will remain 'faithful' to Rachel Reid’s novel, adding, "I’m not going to bail on that now.”
