Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey is preparing to join the comedy film Desert Flowers alongside Michaela Watkins, EJ Marcus, Kyle Mooney and Leslie David Baker, as per Deadline.

Led by Mackinlee Waddell, Bailey Stender, and Kimia Behpoornia, the comedy follows three friends whose desert getaway quickly turns into a wild, high-stakes journey fueled by ambition, loyalty, and the pursuit of the life they believe they want.

The upcoming film will be directed by actress-turned-director and producer Niki Koss and written by Amanda Zaeske.

Currently, it is unknown what role he will be taking on for the project.

Additional cast members include Chaley Rose, Dylan Nalbandian, Oliver Cooper, Susan Berger, Ada Pasternak, David Hernandez, Andrew Etzel, Jessica Meza and Preston Pausmith.

Niki Koss, Zach Tinker, Travis Burns, Mike Zielinski and Sam Felsher will be producing the project.

Jordan Levinson, Brandi Levinson, Jacory Gums and Rob Pausmith will serve as executive producers.

Tyler, 34, is best recognised for playing Scott McCall in the hit teen/supernatural/horror series Teen Wolf. He has starred in other productions like Jane the Virgin, Maid in Manhattan, Scary Movie 5, Truth or Dare and more.
