Katie Leung makes major confession about ‘Harry Potter after ‘Bridgerton’ success
Katie Leung stars as Araminta Gun in ‘Bridgerton’
Katie Leung has been acting for years now thus, understands the world of media and entertainment closely.
The Scottish actress is a part of two big franchises, Harry Potter and Bridgerton, yet she would never want to relive her wizarding world days.
20 years ago, Katie starred as Cho Chang in the Harry Potter and Order of the Pheonix but the actress does not recall the days pleasantly, despite the project being a global success.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Katie admitted that she is more mature now and has a better grasp at life than she did when she starred in the high-fantasy movie.
“I was so young at the time, and I was so easily influenced by what people would say about me because I didn’t know who I was.”
She added “I would not want to go back to that time. Not because I had a bad time or anything, but it’s just really nice when you know who you are, and I’m still figuring that out, but I’m a bit closer.”
Katie was only 16 when she starred as Cho Chang, whereas she filmed the Netflix period drama at the age of 38.
