Kim Kardashian’s new love interest, Lewis Hamilton, who is a seven-time F1 world champion, recently revealed the condition on which he will retire from his career.
The 41-year-old racer recently confessed how he is planning to leave his racing career behind and how eager he is for it.
In a candid conversation ahead of the first race of the Formula 1 season, 2026, that will be held in Melbourne, Lewis stated that he wants F1 to return to Africa.
He stated, “I don’t want to leave the sport without having a grand prix there, without getting to race there,”
He added, ““I’m chasing them: when is it going to be? They’re setting certain dates, and I’m like, ‘damn, I’m running out of time’. So I’m going to be here for a while until that happens, because that would be amazing, given that I’m half African.”
Lewis further revealed how he belongs to the country and wants to experience the race there since the last race that was held in Africa was the 1993 South African Grand Prix.
Notably, he also disclosed that he has roots from Togo and Benin, and he is really proud of that and thinks it’s the most beautiful part of the country.
It is to be noted that the duo recently went public amid the Super Bowl.
