Britney Spears is reportedly receiving support from her family as she deals with the aftermath of her recent DUI arrest.

According to reports the singer has been feeling lonely in recent months which has contributed to ongoing personal struggles.

However sources say her loved ones are now stepping in to help her through the difficult period.

“Her boys are going to be spending time with her,” a source told an outlet.

“Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success for well being.”

Spears shares two sons Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline with her former husband Kevin Federline.

After years of estrangement Jayden has reportedly grown closer to the pop star in recent months. Preston meanwhile is said to remain in Hawaii with Federline.

Spears and Federline married in 2004 and divorced in 2007.

The development comes after Spears was arrested last Wednesday for driving under the influence.

Following the incident her manager Cade Hudson released a statement addressing the situation.

“This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable,” Hudson said.

“Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life.”

Hudson added that the singer is expected to focus on getting the help and support she needs.

“Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time,” the statement concluded.
