Taylor Swift released her 12th album in 2025

American pop icon Taylor Swift has made a major announcement after social media was flooded with theories of her collaborating with peer Selena Gomez.

The Love Story singer’s third single from her 2025 album The Life of a Showgirl has been reportedly confirmed.

The pop star released her 12th studio album in October last year which had twelve tracks.

After announcing The Fate of Ophelia and Opalite as the first two singles, the album's third single is expected to be Elizabeth Taylor.

One of the singer’s fans wrote on X “oh elizabeth taylor mv here we come”, hoping to watch the music video of the new single soon.

The announcement comes after Taylor’s friend Selena had been promoting her album subtly making netizens speculate that they might be collaborating soon.

Selena recently shared a video of herself singing Elizabeth Taylor and Father Figure.

Taylor’s only collaboration on the most recent album is with pop star Sabrina Carpenter on the song The Life of a Showgirl.
